The twin and king rooms offer cozy comfort, complete with unique decor and nice touches that enhance the stay. The mountain view from the king room is impressive, providing a stunning backdrop that'll make any morning coffee special.

The narrow, circular stairs to the second floor proved a bit tricky, especially when lugging bags up and down—definitely requires some caution. The packed breakfast option fell short with only a couple of pain au chocolat, leaving a decidedly inadequate and somewhat unhealthy impression for those needing a proper start to their day.

    clean room
    amazing breakfast
    great location
    narrow stairs

Had a blast with friends! Loved exploring the vibrant street performances during the Jazz fest and cycling along the canal with Bikes and Hikes. The place was clean and comfy, and the breakfast was amazing. Just be aware that the stairs to the second floor can be tricky with luggage.

The steps up to the second floor are narrow and a bit awkward for carrying luggage, so just take your time going up and down.

    fantastic breakfast
    cozy garden
    plush towel

Really enjoyed my stay! The breakfast was fantastic, and I loved relaxing in the cozy garden area and taking a stroll around the lovely grounds. Just a small note, the towels could be a bit plusher, but overall, it was a brilliant stay! 😊

    warm welcome
    beautiful views
    limited drying space
    cramped bathroom

The warm welcome from the hosts set a pleasant tone for our stay. Enjoying a delicious hot breakfast each morning fueled us for our adventures, complemented by the beautiful views of the Beacons. The proximity to the scenic canal provided excellent walking opportunities. drying space for wet clothes was quite limited, and the tiny bathroom felt cramped at times.

Awful narrow stairs to the second floor!!! The dry room felt cluttered and could use better organization!!! The lighting in the common areas needs significant improvement to create a cozy ambiance!!!

Ty Newydd B&B impressed me with its stunning views of the mountains and canal. My room was clean, cosy, and warm, making it a comfortable retreat after exploring the area. Breakfast was a highlight—freshly cooked with a great selection. Rachel and Sid provided exceptional hospitality and had plenty of local insights. the stairs were narrow and challenging with luggage. I had to be extra careful when navigating them. it was a delightful stay, and I’d love to return.
